Sailing in Monohull and Multihull Glory!
The Southern Ocean Racing Conference (SORC) holds its "Islands in the Stream Series" throughout the year off Florida's East Coast. Featuring the annual Wirth M. Munroe Miami to Palm Beach Yacht Race, hosted by the Sailfish Club of Palm Beach, among the oldest regattas in North America. Also the series has the Inaugural SORC Port Canaveral Race, from Miami to Cape Canaveral. The Nassau Cup Ocean Race, along with the Sailors Choice Race goes to the Bahamas and back. The world class regatta series finally ends with the Fort Lauderdale to Key West Race in January 2023. Check the link below for more local and regional sailing events.
Boat Shows
The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, held the end of October each year, along with The Miami International Boat Show and the Miami Yacht Show this upcoming February 2024, are among the United States' largest and most prestigious boat shows. Featuring state of the art products and services for the marine industry, all the way up to world class Mega Yachts, these show have it all.
